Howdy 🤠
It’s heating up in NYC and it feels sooo good…
If you’re new here, welcome. Every month I write an “investor update” to friends and family. It’s a way for me to reflect on the month and keep those close to me updated on my whereabouts and progress.
Let’s do it 🏃
KPIs from April
Miles ran – 200 miles
Marathon PRs - 1 PR
Total steps - 524K steps
Resting heart rate - 48 bpm
LMNTs housed - 41 LMNTs
Flights - 4 flights, 7.4k miles flown
London Marathon
We did it!
On April 21st, I ran the London Marathon in 3 hours and 26 minutes – a 46-minute PR. Check out my Instagram for more photos. Here were the highlights:
Setting a massive PR and completing a successful training block of 1k+ miles (shoutout Coach Chris)
Getting cheered on by millions of people in the streets of London – the city showed out in a big way. Very similar energy to the New York Marathon
Running past historic London monuments. Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and Big Ben to name a few.
Celebrating with the 40+ Endorphins members post-marathon. Many of who traveled from the US!
Refueling with the best fish and chips I’ve ever had @ The Mayfair Chippy
Taking the underground home from the bar and listening to “I gotta feeling” while slightly tipsy and severely calorie-depleted
Special thanks to everyone who cheered me on during the race and to those who donated to Children with Cancer. Running a marathon was special. But doing it for a good cause with a bunch of friends in another country is tough to beat. Feeling very grateful atm 😊
London on Film
Btw, if you’re wondering what marathon I’m running next, I’ll give you a hint... More than 180 different languages are spoken in this city 🍁
5 New Things I Did in April
Joined a men’s league softball team – recap on the first game here
Tried my first Guinness – didn’t split the G unfortunately
Wrote a “3-year vision” based on this tweet
Rode 30 miles alongside Chris as he raced the OSR30
Started coaching 3 new clients on Superset
It’s been a massive month. Tons of learnings. Lots of miles. And even more vibes. Excited to keep the momentum building in May.
Wishing you the best ✨
Cheers,
Noah
