Hey everyone 👋

Happy Monday! As we kick off another week, I am sharing five things that I’ve read, written, or watched. From inspiring books to fascinating YouTube channels and even some health tips, I hope these bullets provide some interesting and thought-provoking content for the rest of your week.

Without further ado, let's get this 🍞

Natural History Museum

Over the weekend, I visited the Natural History Museum and was blown away by the exhibits, artwork, and quotes by Theodore Roosevelt plastered on the walls throughout the museum:

"I want to see you game boys and I also want to see you brave and manly and I also want to see you gentle and tender

Be practical as well as generous in your ideals keep your eyes on the stars and keep your feet on the ground

Courage hard work self-mastery and intelligent effort are all essential to a successful life

Character in the long run is the decisive factor in the life of an individual and of nations alike."

~ Theodore Roosevelt

The museum's displays provide a fascinating look into our planet's history and evolution. Walking out of the museum, I felt inspired and thankful to be alive in such an extraordinary time in human history.

Sailing La Vagabonde

Sailing La Vagabonde is a popular YouTube channel that documents the travels and adventures of Australian couple Riley Whitelum and Elayna Carausu as they sail around the world on their 43-foot yacht, La Vagabonde.

The channel offers a unique perspective on life at sea and provides a glimpse into the challenges and joys of sailing long distances across the world's oceans. The videos are beautifully shot and feature stunning landscapes, marine life, and insights into the couple's daily life aboard the boat.

Whether you're a seasoned sailor or love the idea of exploring the world's oceans, Sailing La Vagabonde offers a fascinating and inspiring look at the world of long-distance sailing.

Four Thousand Weeks

Four Thousand Weeks by Oliver Burkeman is a refreshing take on time management and is a must-read for anyone who wants to unlock the secrets of a fulfilling life.

With his insightful exploration of the human experience and our relationship with time, Burkeman reminds us that time is a precious resource, and we need to use it wisely.

His practical tips on how to prioritize our values, focus on the present, and cultivate gratitude have inspired me to take careful note of how I devote life's most precious resource.

Balance is Everything

Improving your physical relationship with the external environment can decrease your risk of injuries, improve mobility and flexibility, and help you become stronger in everything you do.

In this week's health piece, I teach you how to implement five movements into your daily/weekly routine that will help you move more confidently.

Sit Down

Did you know that sitting on the ground can be good for your health?

Sitting on the ground can improve posture, increase flexibility, and even boost digestion. It's a simple way to add a little variety to your routine and reap some health benefits.

I first came across this idea from Dr. Kelley's episode on the Tim Ferris Show. I'll link it below. It's worth checking out for anyone interested in living a healthier and happier life, and uncovering the secrets of high performers.

That's it for today. Have a great Monday, and I'll see you on Thursday 😄

Keep crushing.

Cheers,

Noah Cracknell
